19. The Sun's Day Off

One day the Sun left leaving the planet pitch dark. All the animals got into huge hysteria. “It wants us to suffer!” They howled. The next day, the Sun came back. The animals cried, “Where did you go?! The Sun replied, “Oh, I just wanted to take the day off.”

If you want mental doom, assume.
